Involvement in Human Rights movement since 1988 as council member of Nepal’s first HR Organization FOPHUR (Forum for protection of HR). Frontline activism in Civil and Political rights movements of 1990 and 2006. INSEC chairperson since 2004 and chair of several HR Networks including HR Home, HRTMCC, NEMA, NCICC. On Regional level, he is an EC Member of SAFHR and the chair of FORUM-ASIA. Champion of the belief that effective use of Civil and Political Rights can lead to attainment of ESC Rights that can transform people’s life towards Dignity and Prosperity. Currently involved in the lobby and advocacy to end the situation of impunity in the country to ensure that the peace process would yield best result for the people.
